WABI-SABI SESSION

wabi-sabi

Wabi-Sabi sessions are based on the Japanese idea of a more connected way of living. A lifestyle where we are deeply connected to our truest inner-selves. Wabi-Sabi sessions are about bringing acceptance to the fore.

Wabi is about the humble simplicity of life and accepting the richness this offers, rather than striving for more, different or better.

Sabi is concerned with the passage of time, the way all things grow, age, and decay. It suggests that beauty is hidden beneath the surface of what we see. So, beauty is always there. Even if we perceive ourselves as broken or flawed.

Based on the ancient art of Kintsugi, we bring pieces of you back together again, glue them with liquid gold to show your golden scars. Kintsugi reminds us that there is great beauty in broken things because scars tell a story. They demonstrate fortitude, wisdom, and resilience, earned through the passage of time. Why hide these imperfections or golden scars when we are meant to celebrate them? Together we learn to celebrate all of you.

Together with a trained professional a Wabi Sabi session will focus on:

  • The opportunity to learn and expand. Even if these lessons come from our struggles.
  • You will find freedom through acceptance, and out of acceptance, you will find your path to sexual growth.
  • Loving kindness and acceptance for self and your body including all its imperfections.
  • A chance to challenge the false narratives that suggest we are not good enough.
  • Focus on your internal beauty, strength and value.
